FEDERAL FUNDING SET TO FLOW TO ROLEYSTONE
KARRAGULLEN VOLUNTEER BUSH FIRE BRIGADE STATION

The Albanese Government’s election commitment of $2,000,000 for Roleystone Karragullen Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Station Project has taken a major step forward today, with a funding agreement now in place with the City of Armadale.

This agreement paves the way for works to begin on the $5,390,900 project, which will involve the Construction of a new Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Station that also requires a road extension to Springdale Road for access to the new facility.

The project is being funded under the Investing in Our Communities Program.

Under this program, the Government is delivering community and sporting infrastructure, open space improvements and other community priorities intended to assist communities to build their strengths and improve liveability.

For more information on the program visit the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts website

“This is yet another demonstration of us acting not only on our
election commitments, but on our broader commitment to develop
Australian communities – including by delivering funding for projects
that create jobs, build opportunity and improve liveability.”

The Hon Catherine King MP
Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government

“We made a promise to fund this vital project for Western Australia
and we are getting on with that job, with today’s funding
agreement being a critical step forward.
